The current stage of research on Cenei village includes unique linguistic studies, along with the analysis of the family Slava holiday, presented in the third volume of the Beginnings Series (in Serbian Ishodi\u0161ta), as well as a complex and well-documented monograph, which belongs to Ignatie Popov. The genesis of the Serbian Museum in Cenei represents a new and precious source of documentation, having both local and regional importance for the commune of Cenei and the surrounding localities. Its emergence was facilitated by the wealth of existing exhibits, which were put on display, inspiring passersby, researchers and souls everywhere. Researching the bibliographical sources in reference to the specifics of the village, its inhabitants and the socioeconomic, cultural and political context proved to be not only imperative, but enlightening, due to the need to contextualize the importance of this museum. Also, the early interaction with elements of Serbian culture at the level of family memory, as well as the quality of an avid researcher, passionate about culture, ethnology, art and folklore, have constituted a strong motivation in carrying out the present academic research endeavor.
