As a novelty, this year the journal has expanded its scope of publishing research results and scientific contributions in the field of ethnochoreology – an important complementary segment – which intertwines with interpretative and ethnomusicological theoretical, analytical and particular concerns with the specialized terms of the works.
The journal Research and Studies – Ethno-Musicology, Byzantinology and Ethnology supports culture and scientific news, having free access in printed and online format without restrictions, including financial ones, through the website www.cs-embe.ro. In this regard, respecting the policy of maintaining integrity and ethics, and the rights of use of works, the journal supports the principle according to Creative Commons 4.0 CC BY, which includes citing and mentioning the authors, references, reproduction, printing and distribution of articles.
Our journal has aimed, since its founding, to provide the greatest possible openness to access and knowledge of the latest research in the multicultural area of Romania and the Balkans, with concrete objectives to promote intercultural and interdisciplinary dialogue at the highest level. We are honored that through this endeavor we have managed to earn the appreciation of specialists in the field.
By creating this journal, which has been waiting for its publication for more than fifty years, the scientific contributions that appear in the journal are of international relevance – as a result of university and academic involvement in musical folklore research – in parallel with other interdisciplinary fields.
