Abstract:
The first half of the twentieth century will represent for the Romanian popular culture the laying of the foundations of Romanian ethnomusicology, among whose founders is Sabin Drăgoi. Sabin Drăgoi’s merits in the field have been recognized by the highest Romanian and European cultural forums. Among Sabin Drăgoi’s works of artistic and scientific significance are 303 Colinde and 122 Melodii poporale.
