Abstract:
THE SOUND RESTITUTION AND TRADITIONAL INTERPRE-TATIONS FROM THE ROMANIAN VILLAGE – represents an ambitious project, first started by me in 2023 and aims to present the common sonority of Romanian and Aromanian music. The proposed approach was based on the research, evaluation and collection of traditional vocal and instrumental musical folklore representative of the Aromanian community in Albania. The trip was made possible by The Banat Culture Association in partnership with the ’’Harriet Martineau’’ Foundation in Tirana and the Faculty of Music and Theater in Timișoara as an academic partner. The research represented, in a first stage, the identification, as far as possible, of vocal groups, traditional instrumental music, cultural diversity, and common musical particularities.
